Actalent Lab Technician in Bedford, Massachusetts
Job Description
Operate production equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Records, Manufacturing Directions (MD), and Manufacturing Operating Procedures (OPM). Execute all procedures associated with cross-linked hyaluronic acid product production, review manufacturing documentation for compliance, coordinate sample preparation and testing, record data into Batch Records, log books, and OPMs, document all work activities according to Good Documentation Practices, and recommend document revisions. Report procedural deviations and nonconformance to management.
Responsibilities
Operate production equipment according to SOPs, Batch Records, MD, and OPM.
Execute procedures associated with cross-linked hyaluronic acid product production.
Review manufacturing documentation for compliance.
Coordinate sample preparation and testing.
Record data into Batch Records, log books, and OPMs.
Document all work activities according to Good Documentation Practices and recommend document revisions.
Report procedural deviations and nonconformance to management.
Essential Skills
Experience with SOPs, GMP, and Batch Records.
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Knowledge of cell culture, chemicals (acids and bases), and aseptic techniques.
Experience with SAP.
Ability to gown and gain entry to biotechnology/pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree with 1-4 years of biomanufacturing/pharmaceutical experience.
Strong attention to detail and initiative.
Team-oriented and hardworking.
Work Environment
The work shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential changes to 10-hour days over 4 days a week. You will work on the first shift with 6-8 team members in a business casual environment. The company values hardworking, detail-oriented, and team-oriented individuals who take initiative.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
