LogixHealth Medical Claims Data Specialist in Bedford, Massachusetts
Location: Bedford, MA; Hybrid in Bedford, MA
This Role:
As a Medical Claims Data Specialist at LogixHealth, you will work both independently and with internal teams to provide cutting-edge solutions that will directly improve business operations. You’ll contribute to our fast-paced, collaborative environment and will bring your expertise to ensure timely filing of insurance carrier claims, bank file retrieval, statement processing, accurate Explanation of Benefits (EOB) filing, and 835 retrieval .
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Run validations in the Ntierprise software system on claims data to ensure billing integrity
Electronically matching insurance payments to the correct practice in Allscripts PM
Review Insurance Carrier Reports to resolve discrepancies or incomplete claims
Reconcile electronic payments
Access and store EOBs and related documents into the Touch Chart filing software system

Required:
10 key pad orientated
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with MS 365 including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Adaptable to learn new software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
One to two years related experience with prior experience of EDI operations
Ability to work independently
