CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst .

Type: Contract

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst

Location: Bedford, MA

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Bedford, MA

Pay Rate: $58-60 per hour

Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent technical degree required; MBA/CPA preferred

Description:

As a Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst , you will be a key member of the plant management staff, collaborating and providing financial analysis to support plant and business objectives. This role will also contribute significantly to division manufacturing support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and developing the plant finance staff while coaching talent to support talent management initiatives

  • Closing the financial books monthly, analyzing actual results, and supporting period financial reports and ledgers

  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting activities, including fixed asset management, inventory valuation, product costing, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Preparing annual budgets and business forecasts, analyzing and seeking approval for capital investments with return metrics (ROI, IRR & Payback)

  • Proactively identifying cost issues, driving root cause analysis, and developing effective solutions

  • Maintaining internal control systems and ensuring compliance with local regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, US GAAP, and Corporate Accounting Policies

  • Driving process improvements within the finance function by documenting existing processes (SOPs) and seeking improvement opportunities

  • Consolidating monthly forecasts and results while providing insights and analytics

  • Supporting division cash-based costing, ad hoc project support, and AR review as necessary

  • Completing weekly and monthly consolidated reporting requirements

  • Providing journal and reconciliation support for the division

  • Assisting in researching transactional and system issues to find systematic solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent technical degree required; MBA/CPA preferred

  • Qualifications: 5+ years of manufacturing or relevant experience, controller experience preferred

  • Skills: Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, general ledger systems, and forecasting tools; familiarity with PeopleSoft, SAP, Khalix, and Performance Excellence (Six Sigma, lean processes) preferred
