Period of Work: May through August 2025
Location(s): Bedford, MA
In Office Requirements: Hybrid onsite for 4 days per week
Clearance Requirement: Students will be submitted for a Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.
The Sensors, Electromagnetics and EW Department within the Electronic Systems Innovation Center works include state-of-the-art "applied electromagnetics". They provide Modeling and Simulation, design and development, performance testing, and systems engineering in the areas of antennas, antenna systems, and sensors.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting lab measurements in the RF field
Supporting internal tool development in MATLAB
Simulating various antenna models
Basic Qualifications:
Sustained excellence in academic performance
Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Electrical Engineering or a related degree and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship.
MATLAB proficiency
Interest in RF, applied electromagnetics , and/ or sensor systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Students pursuing graduate education.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
High level desire to help their nation solve its most critical problems.
