Position Summary:

The chosen candidate will be assigned within a multi-discipline team with tasks to assist in the design and development of new automated medical diagnostic instruments. Responsibilities include designing and developing solutions towards next generation and on market products. The chosen candidate will be working on SW development related to the products and/or on Software Test Automation. This position will provide the candidate knowledge of a product development lifecycle of a regulated medical device company.

Key Attributes

The chosen candidate will be exposed to the following:

  • Development for HW Simulations in Python

  • Good understanding of HW/System behavior in an instrument

  • Some experience of Software Development in C++

The chosen candidate will also be able to further their knowledge in the following topics within Software Engineering:

  • Agile/Scrum Methodology

  • Software architecture and design

  • Test Automation

The candidate will be mentored by the Software Engineering Team Leader and will be considered an active team member.

Min. Knowledge & Experience

  • Must be working towards an Engineering Graduate degree with course work in areas of Robotics/ Control Systems / Mechatronics Systems Engineering and preferably including Model Based Engineering Practices

  • Solid programming skills in Python are highly desirable.

  • Must be able to work in a team setting as well as an independent contributor
