This opening is part of the in-house legal staff located at the Bedford, MA headquarters as part of a fast-paced, publicly-traded high-tech company that operates globally.

Your Impact

  • Act as the Legal point of contact in support of the company’s revenue stream from commercial software licenses and related professional services engagements, with a primary focus on customers in North and Latin America.

  • Counsel Sales and other internal groups on business and legal issues of proposed transactions with customers.

  • Review, analyze, negotiate and enforce contracts and related documentation, and manage third-party translations as necessary.

  • Support preparation of responses to Requests for Proposals.

  • Manage projects in other practice areas as needed.

What You'll Need

  • Experienced in negotiating complex software licenses and consulting service agreements

  • Experienced in structuring, negotiating, and closing other business transactions

  • 5+ years experience in sophisticated legal environment(s); Software technology company experience preferred.

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Current registration in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers
