This opening is part of the in-house legal staff located at the Bedford, MA headquarters as part of a fast-paced, publicly-traded high-tech company that operates globally.
Act as the Legal point of contact in support of the company’s revenue stream from commercial software licenses and related professional services engagements, with a primary focus on customers in North and Latin America.
Counsel Sales and other internal groups on business and legal issues of proposed transactions with customers.
Review, analyze, negotiate and enforce contracts and related documentation, and manage third-party translations as necessary.
Support preparation of responses to Requests for Proposals.
Manage projects in other practice areas as needed.
What You'll Need
Experienced in negotiating complex software licenses and consulting service agreements
Experienced in structuring, negotiating, and closing other business transactions
5+ years experience in sophisticated legal environment(s); Software technology company experience preferred.
J.D. from an accredited law school
Current registration in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers
