Department Summary:

Physical Security/Environmental Health and Safety

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the operational condition of the enterprise IDS/ACS/CCTV systems in accordance with government and industry standards and best practices.

  • Maintain all system backup files in accordance with government regulations and server best practices.

  • Integrate IDS/ACS with other appropriate systems such as HR, Data Warehouse, SQL Server Report Server Systems.

  • Perform upgrades, enhancements, and efficiency improvements for responsible systems.

  • Monitor, maintain, renew, and procure all necessary licenses required for system operations.

  • Administration of the IDS/ACS/CCTV creating user profiles, user groups, user accounts and setting up access/managing levels.

  • Conduct physical security surveys and vulnerability assessments and participate in security inspections, assessments, and reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma. Minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent in education, or 3 years’ experience with an Associate degree, or 2 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

  • This position requires a current Final Top Secret.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required.

  • Possess strong computer skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively operate and manage security tools and processes. Systems include but are not limited to access control, intrusion alarm systems, CCTV, and communications equipment.

  • Have an understanding and knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program and ICD705 with experience working in a cleared facility environment.

  • Possess strong communication skills in both the written and verbal format, in all delivery formats.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and the ability to work independently.

  • Neat and professional appearance.

  • Friendly and professional demeanor.

  • This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.
