Roles and Responsibilities:
The team seeks a full-time Systems Administrator to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of IT systems in Classified lab environment. This is a role best suited for someone who has prior experience working as a classified IT Systems Administrator. This is an on-premises position on our Bedford, MA campus. The successful candidate will have experience in:
Patching and updating Windows and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) server and desktop operating systems
Updating anti-virus software definitions for Windows server and workstation
User maintenance activities on both Windows and Linux operating systems
Perform general systems administration and maintenance of:
Windows & Linux desktops and servers
Network switches (preferred)
VMware ESXi, vCenter platforms
Building and hardening Windows, Linux, VMware systems
Minimum Qualifications:
SECRET-level clearance
Working knowledge of server and client operating systems. (Win10, Srv2016+, RHEL, Ubuntu Linux)
Fundamental understanding of lab IT architecture
Fundamental understanding of system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques.
Fundamental understanding of operating system command-line tools.
Ability to interfacing with customers and provide a high level of customer service
Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with others
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum BS in related course of study
Security+ Certification / 8570 Certification – IAT Level II
Must earn certification within 6-months of hire date
Five years of experience
DoD Top Secret Clearance (will accept Secret)
