Therapeutic Support Specialist (TSS)

Children’s Mental Health Services

$18.86 per hour

Mobile position providing services in the communities of the Burlington, Northshore, and Woburn

The Edinburg Center is seeking a Therapeutic Support Specialist within Children’s Mental Health Services providing services to youth under the age of 21 with mental health needs in the communities of Burlington, Northshore, and Woburn.

What You Will Do:

Work as part of a dynamic fun specialty team consisting of a Master’s level Mental Health Clinician, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Young Adult Peer Mentor (YAPM).

Support clinical goals and/or behavior goals for treating the youth’s emotional or behavioral needs. Engaging 1:1 skill building and coaching. Case management and documentation.

Who You Are:

passionate individual committed to working with youth with the following combination of education and experience

A high school diploma or GED, AND 3-years of relevant experience working with youth OR A qualifying bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in a human services field from an accredited institution AND 2-years of relevant experience working with youth

OR

qualifying bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in a human services field from an accredited institution, AND 1-year of experience working with youth or families, AND oral and written fluency in a needed language

OR

high school diploma or GED, AND 2-years of experience working with youth and families, AND oral and written fluency in a needed language.

Must be 21 years or older and maintain a flexible schedule including afternoon and evening availability. The individual must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle REQUIRED.
