How will you make an impact?

Within the Quality organization of the Bedford, MA facility, we are seeking a career-conscious Quality Training Specialist who will be motivated by this exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Professional to lead our Quality Training Program to meet the needs of multiple businesses.

The training specialist will be instrumental in improving our training program to support a world-class quality mindset via a robust quality system training strategy. More specifically, the position will be responsible for supporting and continuously improving the quality training program through the creation of standard training workflows, identification of training needed, build training content and deployment of the trainings via various means across the Bedford campus.

What will you do?

  • Apply knowledge of quality system processes to enhance training programs and improve training effectiveness

  • Support the quality training program to ensure that learning and development is aligned with the business.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the identification to develop, build, and implement course content and effectiveness checks using various methods.

  • Develop training materials and modules used to train employees

  • Train and authorize trainers

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver new employee orientation.

  • Maintain training records for the site along with supporting workers who have questions or need additional assistance in understanding their job responsibilities and may recommend additional skill requirements or training needed

  • Support the administration of the learning management system

  • Maintain training documentation for compliance and training curricula

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, develop, build, and implement quality training.

  • Participates in internal audits/assessments to identify improvement opportunities in training, supports a state of continuous audit readiness. Partner with management to drive solutions to address gaps.

  • Lead and deliver on projects to drive continuous quality excellence, applying Practical Process Improvement concepts

  • Support generation of training reports and KPI metrics/trends

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Minimum required education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with a preference of Science or related technical field

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of related experience in training and quality systems

  • Experience of design and administration of training programs using various methods.

  • Experience with SuccessFactors or other digital/electronic training platforms preferred

  • Experience / familiarity with ISO 13485

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Experience with a range of training methods (on the job, classroom, e-learning, workshops, virtual classrooms)

  • Strong and effective communicator, written and oral across all levels of the org with a diverse group of individuals

  • Knowledge of quality procedures, processes and guidelines and be able interpret and operationalize quality system regulations

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills

  • Able to concurrently be responsible for/contribute to multiple projects
