Beverly Hospital, located in Beverly Massachusetts is part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System. Beverly Hospital is a community hospital consisting of 10 operating rooms at the main campus and 4 operating rooms at the Lahey Outpatient Surgery Center located in Danvers, MA. We provide a wide range of specialties including; orthopedics, gynecology, general, vascular, spine, pediatrics, urology, robotics, and ENT.

Job Description:

The Associate Chief Nursing Officer of Surgical Services (ACNO) is a key clinical nurse leader responsible for the following:

  • Ensures the delivery of safe, most effective, efficient, timely and patient-centered services possible in the areas of the Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Endoscopy, Ambulatory Pre-Op (Day Surgery), PACU and the Pain Center.

  • Collaborates with the CNO, nurse/senior leaders, managers, providers and other disciplines to enhance the care delivery of our patients as they transition across the continuum of care.

  • Plans, develops and/or directs the implementation of service area initiatives within service lines.

  • Directs budget management, resource allocation and implements strategies to improve quality and safety of care and service.

Qualifications:

Education/Licenses: Master’s degree in Nursing (or closely related field) or must obtain Master’s degree within 5 years of hire (either the Bachelors or Master’s degree must be in Nursing). Preferred: Master’s degree on hire

Required: Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration

Experience: At least five years of work experience as a nurse, with at least two years in nursing leadership.
