General Electric Customer Relationship Specialist, Electric Insurance Company in Beverly, Massachusetts
Job Description Summary
As a Customer Relationship Specialist, you will become part of a dedicated team providing a broad range of services to our policyholders in our multi-media contact center. You will handle inbound customer inquiries concerning home, auto, boat, and/or excess liability insurance, process changes to existing policies, accept payments, review billing schedules and provide information regarding Electric Insurance product offerings. We are looking for self-starters who possess outstanding customer service skills and who thrive being part of a winning team.
The position starts with a 8-week paid training where you will learn insurance, our day-to-day operations and systems. The training consists of formal classroom lecture and practice exams to prepare you for the Property & Casualty licensing exam in order to service our customers across the US.
Assist customers as necessary with billing and service-related issues while educating them on self-service opportunities
Act as an advocate for our direct customer needs while concurrently representing Electric Insurance Company's interests
Review options for various coverage selections and products and act as a risk coach to for our customers
Identify and present opportunities aimed at operational improvements and/or increased customer experience
Participate in Ad hoc projects in support of company objectives
Strong customer service skills including listening and empathy
Courteous, detail oriented and strong multi-tasking skills
Excel in a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing outstanding customer service
Organized with the ability to prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Aptitude with current computer technology
Contact center and/or insurance experience a plus but not required
BS/BA preferred; all majors considered
Work hours during the 8-week training program are from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m, Monday through Friday. After training, all will be temporarily required to work an 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday.
Training starts November 5, 2021.
