Endoscopy Technician - 40 hour day shift

Job Description:

As an Endoscopy Technician you will assist with the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

• Assists the physician with endoscopic procedures, including positioning, biopsy retrieval, polypectomy and sigmoidoscopy.

• The primary responsibility will be focused on performing technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks & procedures for which they have been trained. Responsibility for cleaning, processing & maintaining endoscopes is a priority.

• The Endo Tech must demonstrate the ability & willingness to participate in a Patient Care Team as a multi-skilled caregiver. Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Grad or Equivalent.

Endo Tech experience preferred

Nursing Assistant/Patient care experience required.

BLS required.

Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience and Multi-skilled Associate Training: EKG, Phlebotomy preferred.
