Eliot Community Human Services MH Behavioral Specialist II in Beverly, Massachusetts
The Behavioral Specialist II will work side by side with residents to assist in skill development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with medically involved, with persistent mental illness requiring unique supports.

Provide side by side interventions to Persons that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
Assist the team and Persons in providing on-going assessment of symptoms and responses to staff interventions.
Participate in the development treatment plans and ensure that the Person is at the center of the process and that the interventions are clinically based.
Support Persons in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals. 3. Provide specific interventions and supports to specialty population within the IGLE.
Ensure the safety of the specialty population and the community by adhering to monitoring plans to support Persons.
Administer and monitor Person medications in accordance with agency, DMH and DPH regulations, policies and procedures.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8am-4pm
Computer Software Skills: Intermediate
Med Administration: Intermediate
Communication Skills: Intermediate
- Bachelors or better in Social Work
Licenses & Certifications
- MA DRIVER'S LICENSE
- 3 years: Experience with specific population
