Endicott College Web Production Manager in Beverly, Massachusetts

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Web Production Manager position at Endicott College will help the College Communications and Marketing team fulfill its goals of accurately representing the college in digital-first communications. The role will be responsible for maintaining, editing, and monitoring content and assets on all Endicott College web properties, as well as other current and future digital platforms. This person will make use of web analytics to inform strategic decision making and content direction. The Web Production Manager will manage email marketing and internal communications through the College?s approved email system, and also be responsible for managing the Endicott events calendar, digital map, employee directory, and other digital communication tools as assigned.The Web Production Manager will also be responsible for monitoring various web scanning and diagnostic tools, and taking action to make changes as needed. This person will also meet with various stakeholders across campus to assess changing digital needs, and make recommendations as to how best represent Endicott College across various digital mediums.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and edit content for digital platforms including the college website, affiliated websites, and email.

  • Monitor web and email analytics to understand what content is proving most effective, and communicate these results to account managers and stakeholders as is appropriate.

  • Field ad hoc digital content update requests and communicate the status of these requests with necessary parties.

  • Advise internal clients on web best practices regarding content layout, working within the framework of existing templates.

  • Monitor and maintain overall website health (resolving broken links, etc.) and regularly report on status and related activities.

  • Provide CMS technical support to end users across the college.

  • Analyze content and make recommendations for search engine optimization

  • Create and manage content calendars to drive update schedules for various web areas

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of related experience in digital media, digital marketing, web production or related field

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage projects

  • In depth experience working within a Content Management System, Sitecore experience a plus

  • Experience working with email marketing software

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to apply them in a practical setting

  • Basic understanding of web analytics and a desire to learn more

  • Strong commitment to learning new multimedia skills and training on new equipment as it becomes available and is necessary in the performance of the job.

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Knowledgeable in HTML/CSS, JavaScript is a plus
