Our client north of Boston is looking to add a Senior Design Engineer to their growing team! We are looking for someone who has a passion in design engineering who has worked in a machining environment and understands industry working standards such as AS9100. Candidates will need a BS Degree and 5-10 years of relevant working experience. Candidates will also need to show working experience with Solidworks, GD&T, and an understanding of design principles with manufacturing techniques like CNC machining. responsibilities:

• Assist customers with their design needs from initial concept to final design review

• Create and maintain technical drawings and design documentation for various products

• Assess materials and design components to ensure they meet specifications

• Enhance design processes to boost production efficiency and product performance

• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective

• Participate in the research, design, and selection of tooling, fixtures, and gauges for manufacturing

• Supervise equipment designs, modifications, upgrades, and automation efforts

• Promote a Zero Injury Culture by taking action and developing safe work procedures
