ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for managing the planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities related activities.
Ensure all facilities related requests under his/her supervision are executed in a timely manner, according to applicable codes and appropriate approvals.
Set up, document, and implement all facilities contracts and vendor agreements.
Develop and manage facility planning for capital and leasehold improvements.
Ensure maintenance and service repairs on PITs are completed.
Manage accounts janitorial.
Manage facility operations of 4 remote sites.
Monitor energy consumption to conserve energy at each property.
Manage contracted snow removal services.
Respond to after hour emergencies.
Oversee and operate site EMS controls.
Presides at weekly scheduled meetings and reconciles the maintenance requirements of individual areas so facility maintenance needs are met.
Ensures all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state and local laws.
Assists in reviewing and engineering, with the customer representative(s), any plans or specifications for additional maintenance, construction and renovations.
Develop and maintain department emergency response procedures.
Execution of site wide preventive maintenance programs.
Develop, deploy and manage site Key Performance Indicators.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical or related technical degree or equivalent experience in the facilities maintenance, construction or other related field.
7+ years supervisory experience in the facilities management field.
Computer proficient, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service, managerial, communication, and technical skills
Working hours are not confined to weekdays, may also include evenings and weekends as well as on-call for emergency situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
Experience managing a facility with a building automation system
Ability to effectively communicate to customer and subordinates
Ability to develop and manage the facility operation’s budget
Must be able to work with co-workers in a professional and non-confrontational manner
