We’re seeking a part-time HR Specialist to work 20-25 hours/week at a Fortune 50 global aerospace and defense company in Billerica, MA. Seeking a proven, high performing professional with strong business analytical and administrative skills to support the Workers’ Compensation Manager for the business units. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can drive tasks to completion in a timely manner. Professional and effective communication skills are required.

HR Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide primary support to the Workers’ Compensation Manager.

  • Collects and researches data to create reports/metrics for case management, financial, litigation, tracking purposes (i.e., projections, court/hearing schedules, filing trends, etc.)

  • Learn as needed new metrics and/or processes, internally (i.e., LTIT WC, Location codes matrix for WC, etc.) and externally (i.e. online portal for itemized statement of loss, customized reports, etc.).

  • Provides formatting and proofreading support, as well as incoming and outgoing mail support.

  • Collaborate with other administrative staff and/or business leaders as needed under manager’s direction to understand and execute business priorities in a proactive manner.

  • Support all daily business administrative and coordination responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

HR Specialist Minimum Required Education, Skills & Experience:

  • High School diploma.

  • 4+ years of professional, senior-level administrative experience (calendar management, meeting, scheduling and coordination, planning events, expense reports, and data reports).

  • Highly proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts, graphs, etc.), and other software resources.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
