We’re seeking a part-time HR Specialist to work 20-25 hours/week at a Fortune 50 global aerospace and defense company in Billerica, MA. Seeking a proven, high performing professional with strong business analytical and administrative skills to support the Workers’ Compensation Manager for the business units. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can drive tasks to completion in a timely manner. Professional and effective communication skills are required.
HR Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide primary support to the Workers’ Compensation Manager.
Collects and researches data to create reports/metrics for case management, financial, litigation, tracking purposes (i.e., projections, court/hearing schedules, filing trends, etc.)
Learn as needed new metrics and/or processes, internally (i.e., LTIT WC, Location codes matrix for WC, etc.) and externally (i.e. online portal for itemized statement of loss, customized reports, etc.).
Provides formatting and proofreading support, as well as incoming and outgoing mail support.
Collaborate with other administrative staff and/or business leaders as needed under manager’s direction to understand and execute business priorities in a proactive manner.
Support all daily business administrative and coordination responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
HR Specialist Minimum Required Education, Skills & Experience:
High School diploma.
4+ years of professional, senior-level administrative experience (calendar management, meeting, scheduling and coordination, planning events, expense reports, and data reports).
Highly proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts, graphs, etc.), and other software resources.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
