Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, SEC and Technical Accounting in Billerica, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a technology life sciences company that is currently growing. They offer a competitive salary and benefits package including healthcare, performance bonus, 401k match, stock options, PTO, sick time, etc. They have a newly renovated office space with snacks and beverages for employees. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 2-3 days a week in the office and the rest of the week remote.Responsibilities include:

• Senior Manager, SEC and Technical Accounting will prepare technical accounting research and analyses

• Own the equity and stock-based compensation accounting process

• Perform the valuation for the stock purchase program

• Manage the preparation, review, and filing of 10-Q and 10-K filings

• Manage the external financial reporting process

• As a Senior Manager, SEC and Technical Accounting, you will provide guidance on SEC reporting matters

• Prepare equity footnotes

• Provide technical guidance on accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements

• Manage accounting policies

• Manage ad hoc projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• CPA certification

• 6-8 years of related experience in technical accounting

• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC financial reporting

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Biotechnology, medical device, or diagnostics industry experience is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
