Billerica company is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate First Shift - 8a-4:30p We are seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our growing team at our facility in Billerica, MA. The S&R Associate will be responsible for receiving items used in the manufacturing of ColdSnap products and preparing outgoing shipments of finished products. This person will coordinate and communicate with the Production Supervisors, Quality Control Technicians, Sales Support Manager, and with our logistics partners. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Shipping - Pick, package, prepare, and ship all products and materials, including sales orders, marketing and sales literature, and all other relevant materials. - Responsible for coordinating pick-ups by the carriers. - Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. - Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles. Receiving - Receive incoming shipments of food and beverage products, ensuring they match the accompanying documentation and are in good condition. - Assist in the unloading of deliveries. - Collaborate with other team members on the Production team. Document Control - Utilize ERP software and other programs to create, update, and manage shipping labels, manifest, specifications, and other relevant documentation. Inventory Management: - Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and update the system accordingly. - Print and organize the inventory picks on a daily basis. - Conduct regular daily cycle counts and participate in periodic physical inventory. - Research fulfillment issues on a daily basis. Qualifications - Must be able to operate an electric folk lift. - Proficiency in using a computer & accurate data entry skills. - Strong knowledge of ERP systems or UPS/FedEx online software and working with outside carriers. - Strong knowledge of the bill of lading process and various forms that are used and required by freight carriers. - Knowledge of food safety regulations and GMPs. - Detail-oriented and able to work independently. - Motivated, hard-working, eager to excel, able to take direction and work on a team. Experience/Education - High school diploma or equivalent. - 2 + years of relevant Shipping or Warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing. - 2 + years working with ERP systems and or Inventory management experience. Work Environment and Physical Demands - Must be able to stand/work on your feet for long periods of time. - Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. - Must be willing and able to work on-site at our facility in Billerica, MA.
