The Digital Category Associate is responsible for executing Digital merchandising functions for their assigned categories and helping achieve sales and improve digital KPIs. They will use visual merchandising levers and tools to optimize site experiences and provide support and analytically based insights to the Digital and Club Merchant teams.
Additional responsibilities include:
Execute the digital merchandising and visual "shopping" responsibilities for respective categories, including the ability to identify and improve opportunity areas
Act as a supporting conduit for Club Merchants and effectively collaborates with all cross functional digital teams
Execute seasonal, promotional and strategic support for categories with managing creative intakes, ensure components are built on time and QA of experiences are robust
Develop well merchandised pages, collections and events based on shopping data, consumer trends and business needs
Review category financial performance, promotional impact and vendor analytics and summarize findings to Digital Category Manager / Director
Spend time in search and shopping data, insights and trends and report findings
Ensures assortment is aligned to chain strategy and optimized digitally
Evaluates partially scoped business requests and provides data-driven recommendations
Takes initiative to identify efficiencies in processes, tools, and projects
Questions the status quo and thinks creatively about work and processes
Executes promotional or project-based needs on site and perform other duties as assigned
Provides supportive direction and guidance to Digital Category Assistants / Specialists
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of ecommerce experience
Strong relationship building skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work well in technical and reporting tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $76,000.00.
