Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Supply Chain Analytics Manager to lead and manage our supply chain analytics team in a fast-paced retail environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the success of the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical insights, and driving continuous improvements across the entire supply chain. You will play a key leadership role, managing a team of analysts, leading complex projects, and applying best practices in analytics to optimize supply chain performance and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Supply Chain Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring high performance, skill development, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Strategy and Direction: Define the vision, strategy, and priorities for the supply chain analytics team, ensuring alignment with company goals and supply chain initiatives.

  • Project Oversight: Lead complex, high-priority supply chain analytics projects, such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, transportation analysis, and network planning, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.

  • Process Optimization: Oversee the development and implementation of data models, tools, and dashboards that drive efficiencies across the supply chain. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction using advanced analytics techniques.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including supply chain operations, procurement, logistics, and IT teams, to integrate data-driven insights into decision-making and drive improvements across the supply chain.

  • Data Governance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of supply chain data, working with IT teams to manage data quality and ensure seamless integration across systems.

  • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems that monitor key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in supply chain analytics. Implement these insights to continuously improve the team’s processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Present complex analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring insights are clear and actionable.

  • Talent Development: Foster a collaborative team culture, providing guidance and training to team members. Promote professional growth and ensure the team is equipped with the skills and tools needed to succeed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain analytics or business analytics, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.

  • Proven experience leading and managing a team of analysts in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on performance, development, and collaboration.

  • Strong proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

  • Extensive experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and creating actionable insights from large datasets.

  • In-depth understanding of supply chain operations, especially in a retail setting, including inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics, procurement, and distribution.

  • Strong background in managing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other supply chain software.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex supply chain challenges and deliver actionable insights.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex analytics findings to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with machine learning and advanced statistical modeling techniques for supply chain optimization.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.

  • Experience working in a retail or e-commerce environment, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges in retail supply chains.

  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $122,500.00.
