Providing direct patient care in an ambulatory clinical setting with an interdisciplinary team of developmental-behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, and APRNs providing neurodevelopmental evaluations and on-going follow up for children age birth thru adolescence. Presenting concerns include Elimination Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and ADHD.
Assessing patients' medical, behavioral, and psychological needs and conditions
Prescribing and monitoring behavioral health medications
Providing psycho-education and behavioral recommendations
Partnering with Nursing, Physician and Administrative Leaders supporting clinical operations, sharing accountability for safe, effective, high quality care within the ambulatory Clinic.
Working closely with the APRN director and Division leadership to provide oversight and support for clinical operations
To qualify, you must have:
A Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
Strong physical assessment and diagnostic skills important, as well as an interest in developmental/behavioral pediatrics.
3+ years pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse preferred.
Experience with Developmental/Behavioral pedi patients preferred.
Experience in leadership/team building a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
