The Analyst, Finance Rotational Program (FAR) is a two-year development program designed to provide recent graduates accelerated training and exposure in the Financial Services industry and develop them into future financial leaders of the organization

The Rotational Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will participate in the organization's comprehensive Financial Analyst Rotational (FAR) program by completing three 8-month placements across three key pillars: Core Banking, Insight & Analysis, and Business FP&A. This role has a high level of visibility due to the level of exposure to key stakeholders including management. This role represents 1st rotation.

The Finance organization is responsible for leading and participating in a number of critical functions including: supporting executive management decisions making by analyzing results, assessing strategic alternatives and developing strategic plans; communicating financial results and forecasts with critical stakeholders, including executive management and Board of Directors, shareholders and regulators; managing the Company’s balance sheet, including interest rate and liquidity risks; establishes the Company’s capital policies and prioritizes investments; develops and implements controls to reduce operational risk; developing and maintaining financial data and systems. The Finance organization works across functions and Business lines in the Company, requiring a broad understanding of our business, risk and strategy.

Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in revenue-generating organizations, finance and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes. Conducts financial and economic analysis and forecasting and evaluates alternate financial plans. Prepares, analyzes, interprets and maintains internal and external information related to economic policy, rates of return, depreciation, investments and operational and financial results. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Analyzes business results and identifies key performance insights (financial results, business drivers, key performance indicators) to share with management.

  • Performs analyses on specific financial metrics against the budget and prior year's results.

  • Evaluates control systems to help develop effective financial controls testing and reporting of these controls.

  • Presents key insights and findings to finance and business leadership.

  • Develops, analyzes, and presents financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for management.

  • Supports the development of the annual budget, strategic planning, and monthly forecasting for business lines.

  • Liaises with internal finance departments (Treasury, Financial Planning, Strategy) to ensure organizational alignment.

  • Conducts ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested.

  • Additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Accounting, Statistics Req or equivalent (including STEM majors)

  • 0+ Years Internship experience in Corporate Finance/FP&A, Treasury, Consulting, or Investment Banking Preferred

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $50,400 - $75,000/year
