<p><strong>Animation Designer Co-op - July 2024&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>The Wayfair Creative team is a multi-talented group of innovative thinkers across many disciplines, partnering closely with strategic leaders to catapult Wayfair into the leading destination for all things home by developing engaging consumer campaigns, next-in-class consumer experiences, and scalable, but distinct brand systems.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Animate on site and digital marketing collateral in partner with our in-house motion, design, and copy team&nbsp;</li>

<li>Produce work that resonates with our customers, follows our creative guidelines and continues to raise the bar for our brand</li>

<li>Participate in collaborative brainstorms, concept development, and presentations with creative peers and cross-functional partners</li>

<li>Engage in thoughtful critiques, both responding positively to and offering constructive feedback</li>

<li>Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure design concepts meet business goals</li>

<li>Be a vocal contributor, an organized team player, and willing to pitch in on additional projects</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></p>

<p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>You are a current sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in animation, graphic design, visual communication, or related field.</li>

<li>Able to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from July 8 to December 20, 2024.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Technical proficiency with After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma a bonus but not mandatory</li>

<li>Motion concepting, typography, and visual storytelling skills</li>

<li>Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills</li>

<li>Creative abilities plus the ability to articulate ideas and opinions</li>

<li>Ability to stay organized and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced atmosphere</li>

<li>Continual interest in the latest design, art, technology, and current trends</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Requirement</strong></p>

<ul>

<li><strong>To be considered you must submit an animation reel and/or an online portfolio.</strong></li>

<p><strong>Wayfair Co-op Program Overview</strong></p>

<p>Based in Wayfair’s Boston headquarters, our co-op program is a six-month, full-time, paid program that runs twice annually in January to June and July to December. Through the co-op program, students have the opportunity to gain impactful professional experience in their major or career field of interest by fully integrating with Wayfair business units. While the majority of Wayfair co-ops join directly from an academic program, some co-ops join us from varying professional and academic backgrounds seeking a six-month professional experience. In addition to exciting project work, Wayfair co-ops have the opportunity to build their professional networks, take advantage of training offerings, and attend social events throughout the program.</p>

<p><strong><em>Wayfair's In-Office Policy:</em></strong></p>

<p>All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work remotely on Friday.</p>
