Boston University ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR STUDENT SUPPORT, College of Fine Arts, Enrollment Services in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The College of Fine Arts seeks an Assistant Director for Student Services in the School of Visual Arts. This position reports to the Director of Undergraduate Student Services, and the Director of the School of Visual Arts, to provide academic advising support for half of the School of Visual Arts undergraduate students (alphabetical split by student last name). The Assistant Director tracks degree progress for these undergraduate students, including audits of Hub requirements, and works with the CFA Registrar to clear students for graduation. In addition, this position provides degree tracking support for Visual Arts graduate students. The Assistant Director collaborates with faculty in the departments who advise students on appropriate course selection for graduate students. This role provides support for academic operations as well as implements a range of extracurricular offerings for students including social programs, community building events and professional development.
Required Skills
Experience: 3-5 years.
Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
