The DoubleTree by Hilton Boston Downtown (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/boscodt-doubletree-boston-downtown/?SEO\_id=GMB-AMER-DT-BOSCODT&y\_source=1\_MTM3MjcwMS03MTUtbG9jYXRpb24ud2Vic2l0ZQ==) is looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join the team!Located in the heart of historic downtown Boston, this property has 267 rooms, 2,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets: Wisteria Restaurant & Bar, Starbucks, and In-Room Dining.

In this role, you will oversee food and beverage operations focusing on the Starbucks outlet, managing a team of 6-8, and reporting directly to the hotel Food and Beverage Manager. Please note that in this position, you would also cross train in order to help manage the other food and beverage outlets 25% of the time!

The ideal candidate will bring positivity, high energy, flexibility, and go-getter attitude who is willing to assist anywhere as needed and bring new ideas to the table. Starbucks/barista experience is a plus!

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you would be responsible for managing and administration of the Starbucks Outlet in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
• Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
• Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
• Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
