Santander Consumer and Business Banking is working on developing our Next Gen Data Program. This multi-year program will utilize both traditional data provisioning via ETL as well as using newer federation capabilities to access data in existing repositories with the need to physically copy the data. This will allow teams to get access to the data they need in a rapid and agile environment. The Next Gen Data Program will allow for a more efficient environment for all data consumers and allow the bank to achieve its strategic plans on create a more personalized customer experience.

Objectives of this Role

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement

  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance

  • Coordinate between multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached

  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure proper prioritization and measure progress. These cross-functional teams include CBB technology & EDM technology)

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper resource management for requirements discussions, testing, and documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure proper prioritization and requirements completion as well as educating end users of progress of the program. These stakeholder will include users from analytics teams, product teams, Chief Data Office.

  • Research industry / competitor data capabilities to ensure the Next Gen Data Program continuously evolves with new practices and standards.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with program management experience

  • 2+ years of experience with DATA specific program management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree; Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Management Information Systems, or other equivalent field

  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. preferred; Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Management Information Systems, or other equivalent field., or equivalent work experience

  • Prior experience in data engineering (Hadoop / Denodo)

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of data program principles (metadata management, data quality controls, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Hadoop, Denodo, Informatica MDM)
