JPMorgan Chase Associate II - Performance and Risk in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works independently as well as on a team, to produce performance/risk analytics at multiple levels

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding performance/risk reporting

  • Participate in RFPs and client meetings as required

  • Resolve issues relating to daily performance measurement and daily attribution

  • Acts as a resource and representative for the performance group internally and externally

  • Establish and maintain relationships with all key partners to help streamline the core operations processing through people, process & technology changes

  • Partner with Product Development and Technology to help automate/streamline operations processes which enhance client experience and build scalability into the business

  • Partner with Client Service in US to help change client behavior where required

  • Interpret and write commentary on performance results

  • Calculate rates of return

  • Handle client reporting and prepare custom reports, ensuring accuracy and quality


  • 5-7 years of experience working in a performance and/or accounting environment required

  • BA/BS or equivalent preferably in business/finance or math

  • Excel proficiency a must

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard and be on a steep learning curve

  • Must have a willingness to work on and learn new software applications

  • Must have good communications skills and be a team player

  • Attention to detail with demonstrated problem solving ability

  • Ability to manage to strict deadlines

  • Familiarity with performance/risk applications and GIPS benchmark composition

  • MBA, CFA, CIPM candidates preferred
