It is not directly patient facing, but may require contact with patients/families in order to confirm and understand patient needs. It is currently a hybrid role. Ability to multi-task and attention to detail are important skills, as well as the ability to manage a fast paced environment. Must enjoy working as a team, as well as working independently on tasks.

The Associate International Case Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the coordination of the patient intake process including, but not limited to, reviewing, screening, verifying and recording information regarding the patient from admission to completion of care in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.

  • Coordinating the case management activities within the assigned unit/team.

  • Functioning as a liaison with patients, internal teams, and external departments in ensuring appropriate referrals are in place for continuing care.

  • Communicating with patients and/or family members as necessary to assist with requests for information.

  • Processing referrals for continuing care services including, but not limited to, patient transfer or requests for extended care facility beds to the appropriate agency.

To qualify, you must have:

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum one year of experience working in healthcare, customer or language services or hospitality.

  • International life experience or experience serving international clientele in a work environment preferred.

  • Knowledge of principles and processes’ for providing exceptional customer/patient services.

  • Written and verbal fluency in English required and second language (Arabic) strongly preferred.

  • Work required the skills to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

  • Ability to ensure information is complete and accurate.

  • Ability to maintain positive and productive relationships.

  • Ability to deliver clear, effective communication via telephone, written form, e-mail or in person.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and commitment to juggle multiple tasks and priorities, and use available resources to get tasks done.

  • Intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as ability to navigate an electronic health records.
