The ISV Technical Evangelism team includes technical and product experts who inspire and enable companies to build amazing solutions using best-in-class technical resources and Salesforce technologies.

Role Description:

The ISV Technical Evangelism team is looking to hire an ISV Associate Technical Evangelist, a key technical position, responsible for supporting ISV revenue growth by helping partners successfully assess our technologies, then choose to build, sell, and deliver commercial apps on the AppExchange. As an Associate ISV Technical Evangelist, your role is to guide ISVs to build and distribute enterprise-quality apps leveraging the Salesforce platform. This position requires technical and communications skills, excellent time management and prioritization capabilities, and an aptitude for critical thinking. In this role, you will work closely with prospects and in-market partners as well as our own ISV account managers, product managers, and partner programs professionals, all working towards the shared goal of partner success and growth of the ISV and AppExchange business.

Your Impact:

  • Assist with hands-on product and ISV tool demos used to help partners build and publish an App on the AppExchange

  • Assist partner account teams with technical guidance for ISVs using salesforce products

  • Demonstrate

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Salesforce ISV partners building commercial, enterprise-quality apps on the Salesforce platform

  • Guide ISV partners on their path to creating solutions that deliver tangible business value to our customers

  • Work as part of a team to assist with the recruitment of inbound partners

  • Showcase Salesforce platform features by developing prototypes and demos that highlight ISV Use Cases

  • Participate in architectural and design discussions with ISV partners to ensure technical success

  • Assist with evangelizing Salesforce platform technologies via interactions with our partner community including in-person events, blogs, wiki articles

  • Become a certified and Salesforce expert in key ISV and Development technologies

Experience/Skill Required:

  • BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience of building or configuring software applications

  • Self-starter and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand

  • Technology enthusiast, excited by constant innovation and enjoy solving problems

  • Motivated to learn and experiment with the latest Salesforce Platform technologies

  • Excellent presentation, demonstration, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Working knowledge of salesforce, web technologies, and cloud computing

  • Organized; able to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities concurrently

  • Ability to explain and demo technical topics, and effective at providing practical guidance

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience developing on the Salesforce Platform

  • Salesforce Admin/Developer Certifications

  • Basic analytics or programming experience with web-based technologies

Expected Travel

  • 10-25%
