What you will do:

The Associate Manager, Compliance Policy and Standards will support Stryker’s efforts to develop and operationalize compliance guidance across the global organization to align business activities with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. This professional will execute the strategic direction of the Compliance team and work closely with colleagues within Compliance, Legal, and other relevant business functions to address potential compliance-related issues. This professional is responsible for supporting the Compliance Policy and Standards team, and will positively contribute to Stryker’s mission and culture of integrity.

You will

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of compliance policies, standards, and procedures at a company-wide level in partnership with Compliance, Legal, and other relevant business functions.

  • Drive global consistency in our approach to compliance-related guidance and ensure principles and expectations are made available across divisions, geographies, and functions.

  • Maintain global compliance policies, standards, and procedures and address identified gaps.

  • Support the development of supplemental divisional and local guidance, promoting efficiency and consistency while allowing for flexibility when appropriate.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and align policies, standards, and procedures with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to solutions, facilitate discussions, implement feedback, and liaise with stakeholders.

  • Consider updates to compliance policies, standards, and procedures to reflect changes, clarifications, or updates in applicable laws, regulations, and business strategies.

  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry expectations to apply knowledge for continuous improvement of the compliance program.

  • Work collaboratively across compliance and with other relevant business functions responsible for policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Partner closely with Compliance team members to deliver a holistic approach to guidance, process, education, and change management

  • Support efforts to increase the accessibility of compliance policies, standards, and procedures

  • Develop strong relationships across divisions, geographies, and functions to foster a consistent and collaborative approach to compliance.

  • Raise awareness of the compliance program and promote accountability for ethics and integrity.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 6+ years of work experience required, preferably within a compliance or related function, with experience developing written guidance.

  • 1+ years of experience in compliance programs and/or experience with AdvaMed or PhRMA Codes is preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience developing and leading large-scale, global initiatives preferred.

$85,500 - $182,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
