Wayfair Associate - Process Governance in Boston, Massachusetts

<p>We’re seeking process-oriented, passionate, and self-motivated individuals to join the Global Partner Desk Platform team. This team serves as a central project team to help create process standards for supplier support at Wayfair. We coordinate with frontline execution, product strategy and cross-functional teams to document current operations, identify pain points, and recommend and make changes to drive towards offering best-in-class support to an ever-growing supplier base. As a member of this team, you will work at the core of our business: at the intersection between partners, support teams, and process/technology!</p>

<p>As a<strong>&nbsp;Process Governance Associate</strong>, you will help manage governance / accountability cross Global Partner Support to ensure we are on track for our key objectives while also playing a role in tracking and defining KPIs across the team. This role will also support quality assurance reviews across the global desk team as needed. The role will require the ability to communicate with Sr. Leaders across the organization on status of projects / KPIs and dig into data and find trends that may not be easily visible. You will be responsible for tracking highly visible KPIs and escalating appropriately if we aren’t meeting our department's metrics. There will also be the opportunity to work on strategic support projects that directly impact the supplier experience globally for Wayfair’s many suppliers. You will need to gain sufficient subject matter expertise to effectively review, assess, and make recommendations on the team's quality of support. The Global Partner Support space at Wayfair is rapidly changing so candidates must be comfortable with change and influencing others in that change.</p>

<p>&nbsp;<strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>


<li>Support and advance the Global Partner Support governance framework through tracking tools&nbsp;</li>

<li>Make recommendations for simplifying and improving a governance process that can be a tedious task for sr. leaders</li>

<li>Help with the creation of communication and materials for our monthly business review process, notifying sr. leaders of the progress of our objectives</li>

<li>Monitor and maintain objectives and key results across various departments, learning what each is focused on and determining appropriate evidence needed to back up meeting the key results</li>

<li>Work with Sr. Leaders on the global planning cycle for department wide objective and key results</li>

<li>Review evidence that supports the closure of objectives and key results across Global Partner Support as applicable</li>

<li>Conduct quality assurance reviews on our supplier support teams and identify any shortcomings, e.g. human error, process breakdowns, and technology inadequacies</li>

<li>Leverage data to monitor core metrics and determine the validity of a KPI</li>


<h3><strong>What You'll Need</strong></h3>


<li>1+ years of relevant work experience in fast moving, process/technology oriented environments (e.g. consulting, project management, customer service, supplier service, operational excellence)&nbsp;</li>

<li>A keen eye for detail especially when it come to data analysis</li>

<li>Positive attitude and self motivation to quickly learn about a topic with little to no context beforehand</li>

<li>Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to adapt / learn communication styles to support working with sr. leaders</li>

<li>A willingness to ask questions to seek stronger understanding, with the ability to retain information quickly and avoid asking the same questions twice</li>

<li>A basic understanding of objectives and key results and capability to become an expert who coaches others</li>
