EPAM Systems AWS Cloud Solutions Lead - Remote in Boston, Massachusetts

For our rapidly growing AWS Business, we are looking for technical sales leaders to accelerate and strengthen our AWS Team. As an AWS Cloud Solutions Lead , you will be a key contributor to our AWS sales efforts, working closely with clients to understand their business needs and architecting AWS solutions that address those needs. You will collaborate with our AWS sales team, business leaders, and delivery organization to drive revenue growth through effective AWS solution selling and relationship building.




  • Ideating, Developing, and Promoting EPAM’s AWS offerings

  • Working with our business and delivery leaders to support end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity origination and qualification through proposal development and execution

  • Engage with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and objectives

  • Develop comprehensive proposals and presentations showcasing the benefits of proposed solutions

  • Participating in RFP/RFI responses and presentations

  • Architect and design AWS-based solutions that meet client needs, emphasizing scalability, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during the sales cycle to build trust with clients

  • Address technical questions and concerns and overcome objections effectively

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, approaches, and best practices

  • Act as a subject matter expert on AWS cloud technologies and their application in various industries

  • Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for clients and internal teams

  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on AWS solutions

  • Collaborate with clients on long-term cloud strategy and roadmap development

  • Ensure client satisfaction through exceptional service and support

  • Enable Alliance partner's Go-To-Market team (e.g., SA's, AEs, and Product Marketing) on EPAM’s solution and value

  • Educate the Customer Success team on the Alliance team initiatives on how EPAM/ Alliance partner technologies provide value collectively

  • Build deep relationships with senior technical people within partnerships to enable them to be EPAM advocates

  • Author or otherwise contribute to EPAM customer-facing and internal documents (whitepapers, blogs, Handbooks, etc.)


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's preferred)

  • Deep technical background with AWS solutions. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent AWS certifications

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in solution architecture, cloud technology, and AWS services

  • Sales acumen and a track record of successful solution selling. Experience in sales carrying quota is a plus

  • Experience with Cloud focused SI/GSI organizations is a plus

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and best practices. Such as K8S, Containers, Serverless, Microservices, IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, etc

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Knowledge of all or most of the following categories in the DevOps space: Consulting, Integration, and or Technical Advisory

  • Ability to break down the Alliance team's Go-To-Market strategy into technical initiatives and drive them forward

  • Technical presentation and communication skills

  • Experience with technical pre-sales or as a professional in the field of information technology

  • Experience with modern software development or operations and their associated technologies

  • Other CSP experience is a plus

  • Up to 25% travel

  • This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $140k– $220k.
