The Opportunity

Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring a part-time Banquet Captain to join our team at New England Aquarium in Boston, Massachusets. As a Banquet Captain, you will be leading the food and beverage team during events while delivering the highest quality of service to our guests.

Minimum pay rate: $32.00 / hour

Per client mandate, all current and new employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shots, once eligible. You will be asked to provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule and supervise banquet associates.

• Conduct daily function meetings with banquet managers and associates before events.

• Ensure all company policies, service procedures and safety standards are followed.

• Maintain communication with both the banquet and kitchen team to ensure guests receive the best quality service and experience.

• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory position.

• Excellent customer service and employee relation skills.

• Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.

• Basic math and counting skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand or walk for 8 hour shifts.

• Possible exposure to high volume of noise.
