Aerotek Building Engineer II in Boston, Massachusetts
Job Title: Building Engineer
Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building systems at the University of New Hampshire. This includes monitoring equipment, addressing maintenance issues, and performing regular inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for alarms and take corrective actions.
Respond to maintenance requests via email and perform tasks as needed.
Conduct daily walkthroughs of key areas (e.g., generator rooms, kitchen, and critical spaces).
Review open work orders and complete tasks as assigned.
Check in with BBH facilities staff daily to address any issues.
Inventory essential supplies weekly and submit material requests to the Facilities Coordinator.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in office building setting maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks as needed.
Location : Post Office Square area of Boston, MA
Shift : 7 am - 3:30 pm
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
