Join our fast-paced website development team and be part of one of the nation's most dynamic not-for-profit organizations. As the Web Business Analyst, you'll be based in our headquarters in the heart of the action in downtown Boston. You'll be part of a small team that develops new features and keeps our website running smoothly.
Your day-to-day includes …
Facilitating requirements elicitation for website projects, capturing meeting notes, documenting clear and concise requirements and following up on action items.
Guaranteeing projects are completed on time and within scope.
Communicating with business stakeholders on feasibility and level of effort analysis.
Working closely with the creative group, data group, Information Technology and other departments within the organization.
Maintaining our project management tool (Jira) to ensure a coherent, actionable and prioritized product roadmap.
Collaborating closely with the development and QA roles within the organization to ensure projects are technically feasible, that requirements are understood, and that development is aligned.
Identifying issues and actively working with appropriate teams to mitigate.
Improving internal processes to facilitate more efficient website development.
Acting as liaison to internal departments to distill requests into actionable tickets.
Ideally, your background looks like this …
1-2 years' experience working as a Business Analyst in an environment with challenging timeframes and deliverables
Exposure to the full project life cycle, from inception to user acceptance testing
Experience working with distributed teams, and demonstrated success in relationship building with stakeholders
Ability to combine influencing, persuasion and consultancy skills with leadership qualities that will encourage stakeholders to positively respond to questions, inquiries and requests to meet deadlines.
Experience with Agile Project Management and Jira ticketing processes
Creative, proactive, logical and innovative with a passion for achieving deadlines.
Ability to effectively deal with unexpected demands; flexible.
Polished written, verbal, email and phone communicator
Highly computer literate; ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently
