Amazon Business Development - HCLS Solutions Lead in Boston, Massachusetts

AWS industries is seeking an individual who thinks big and executes with excellence to help deliver impactful solutions to our industry customers. In this role you will work with the Chief Medical Officer to craft strategy, conduct market analysis, gather feedback, gain alignment, collaborate and execute complex initiatives. The ideal candidate will have top notch communication, technical and project management skills and domain expertise in the life sciences industry. This individual will develop, connect, promote, and lead a broad array initiative with a keen focus on driving outcomes that bring vision to reality. Technical experience with AI/ML and generative models for industry applications is preferred.

Key job responsibilities

Own and manage functional project requirements and documentation, roadmap, internal & external dependencies, timeline, market sizing, and business modeling

Act as a project champion to onboard partners and customers. Drive activities that promote solutions and gather input from customers and stakeholders

Collaborate the sales team to enable delivery of new solutions and develop complimentary goals, tracking and metrics

Apply domain and technical expertise to anticipate challenges, remove blockers and accelerate industry work.

About the team

The AWS Healthcare and Life Science Strategic Industries organization works across global enterprises to deliver technology that accelerates science, speeds drug development, and improves healthcare delivery.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years Project Management experience

  • 7+ years of technical skills including cloud devops, software development, agile methodologies, and requirement gathering

  • 10+ Years of experience working in industry

  • 5+ Years of industry relevant technology expertise in cloud

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

  • Advanced degree in healthcare or life sciences

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
