Bank of America Business Support Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be located in geographical location of a Global Commercial Banking team

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as part of a market team or in a business support role.

  • Demonstrate history of ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts, partner across the platforms, ensure effective time and organization management.

  • Competent at adapting to changing business needs, applying critical thinking, communicating effectively, focusing on clients, demonstrating initiative and influencing others

  • Demonstrated project management skills and capacity to independently lead and drive initiatives as well as manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both orally and in writing), with the ability to effectively interact, partner and influence GCB leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.

Desired Skills

  • Previous multi-year business control, operational management, or operational risk experience in one of more line of business at Bank of America.
