Tufts Medicine Department Chief of Urology in Boston, Massachusetts

The Department of Urology at Tufts University School of Medicine and Division of Urology at Tufts Medical Center is actively recruiting our next leader

*About our team: *

Tufts Medical Center is a not-for-profit, 415-bed academic medical center located in downtown Boston, with additional clinical locations in Melrose and Woburn. The Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. A successful candidate will also develop a vision for expanding urology surgical services across our health system, Tufts Medicine.

Our urology surgery division provides state-of-the-art surgical care using a multidisciplinary approach. We have a strong tradition of providing superb care for a full spectrum of urology services including a highly successful robotic minimally invasive program. The division also works closely with a multi-disciplinary team of oncologists, radiation oncologists, nephrologists, and pelvic floor specialists.

A successful candidate will have a national reputation for leadership, clinical, teaching, and research excellence. They will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The Chief will develop a strategic plan focused on growth, quality improvement, and clinical excellence. They will be expected to partner closely with Tufts University School of Medicine on clinical education and research. Candidates should have attained or be eligible for promotion to Associate Professor.

Who you are:

  • Board Certified by the American Board of Urology

  • Able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license

  • Teaching and leadership experience

  • Complementary research interests

  • Associate Professor or Eligible for promotion to Associate Professor
