The Child Care Operations & Financing Strategy Specialist is responsible for providing operational support and assistance in the development and implementation of effective systems, tools, and program designs aimed at enhancing program financial stability within child care businesses. This role involves aiding in the design and execution of various programs, such as grants and technical assistance supports, tailored to the unique characteristics and strengths of various child care program types, including family child care and out of school time, to bolster the stability of programs funded and licensed by EEC. Analyzing data to evaluate the efficacy of EEC program support offerings, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing strategies to address these gaps are core responsibilities of the Child Care Operations & Financing Strategy Specialist. The Specialist oversees grants, contracts, and initiatives designed to support strong child care program business operations and stability across all childcare program types, ensuring their seamless integration into the existing infrastructure. This includes primary responsibility for the ongoing oversight and development of the innovative Commonwealth Cares for Children (C3) program financing model, including ongoing data analytics and reporting. Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities: Ongoing oversight and development of the Commonwealth Cares for Children (C3) financing program, including: All grant management activities, including communication with all support vendors and other EEC departments to ensure operational success, supportive communication and program compliance Ensure data collection is effective and utilize available data to analyze grant trends, provide reports and generate internal and external presentations on grant activities, successes and challenges Provide recommendations to the Director of Child Care Business Operations & Facilities and agency leadership on future directions Collaborate with the data and research team to support effective data management and analysis of C3 data Collaborate with managers overseeing related grants, contracts, and programs affected by planning and execution is essential Oversee other projects related to primary responsibilities as developed in response to documented program needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordinatio Communicate with child care programs and others in the field to both share information about EEC programs and policies and gather feedback to inform ongoing development Other duties as assigned Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in operational and/or financial management within nonprofit organizations or public institutions, with a strong preference for leadership in child care programs or public school systems Experience with and training in data analysis and program evaluation methodologies Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting complex information Full job description: https://massanf.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobdetail.ftl?job=250000CJ&tz=GMT-05%3A00&tzname=America%2FNew_York
