Client Manager, Lender Product

CoStar Risk Analytics, located in Boston, MA, works with market participants across the commercial real estate (CRE) lending spectrum. Our solution provides lenders with the ability to better target business, appropriately price loans, make informed approval of credits, actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures, assess refinance risk and execute with a disciplined framework. Our clients include both public and private lenders, ranging from commercial banks and financial institutions to pension funds and insurance companies as well as government and rating agencies.

CoStar Risk Analytics, is currently looking for a Client Manager, Lender Product to join the growing Boston based team. This individual will be a committed, experienced professional who can provide an excellent customer experience to CRE portfolio lending clients by supporting their inquiries on product use and basic results analysis while also being able to connect clients to the appropriate team members if there are technology issues, advanced analytical/molding questions, sales questions and more.

This position is located in Boston, MA and offers the following schedule:

  • 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Responsibilities:

  • Be the point of contact for a specified group of clients and build sustainable client relationships.

  • Ability to communicate the overall value of CoStar Risk Analytics’ lender products and credit risk models.

  • Provide clients with basic analytical support on portfolio risk assessment.

  • When client inquiries become complex and need escalation be able to identify the proper in-house subject matter expert to connect them with.

  • Implement client retention strategies to achieve high client satisfaction rate and retention rate.

  • Collect client feedback for continuous product and model enhancement.

  • Continual self-education on on the impact of CRE and capital market dynamics and regulatory policy change on CRE lending activities and risk management practice to be able to handle more inquiries.

  • Alert product team when clients are having any technology related issues.

  • Maintain an open line of communication with the sales representative and engagement manager on each account.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College is required.

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

  • 5+ years of relevant commercial real estate, banking, insurance, investment management, accounting or related experience

  • Direct client facing and interaction experience.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.

  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and financial modeling.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in finance, economics, real estate, or accounting preferred.

  • Preferred to have experience in CRE lending.

This position offers a base salary range of $82,100 - $146,400, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
