Job Description:
This job is responsible for operations and management of providers’ practices in order to achieve strategic and operational goals. In collaboration with the markets, responsible to create and achieve operation and capital budgets for the service line practices.
The Service Line Senior Manager is the leadership role within the Medical Group that reports to the Service Line Director. The Service Line Senior Manager supports the Service Line Director, associated Senior Medical Directors, Associate Medical Directors, and Ambulatory Nurse Director of the Service Line within the Medical Group to execute strategy, implement operational standards and clinical protocols, analyze strategic provider staffing needs, and support the financial performance of the Service Line.
Position Details:
This remote position will work Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Incumbent will be a member of the Service Line Team with expectations to attend team meetings and huddles, while also spending time in the Medical Oncology clinics to support the program needs and initiative implementations consistently across the region.
Under direction of the Service Line Director, this position serves as a trusted member of the Medical Group’s management team providing effective leadership and accountability for ambulatory care operations. The key job duties of the Service Line Senior Manager are:
Financial management;operations management; maintain financial literacy relative tothe service lineindustry trends; understands and adheres to all financial policies and procedures, and leads others to do the same
Strategic initiatives leadership- ensures successful execution of multi-year Service Line strategy within operations
Provider engagement- expertise, countenance, andcritical thinking engage providerswiththe Service Line Practice models:staffing models,space models, supply models,productivity models, and referralmanagement models
Human resource management;conducts training activities to support operational functions
Information technology; ensures compliance and appropriate utilization of information technology resources.
Referralmanagement;promotes care delivery processes and optimizes healthcare delivery processes to streamline an efficient patient flow
Patient care delivery systems; understands clinical policies and procedures,service line patientcare delivery standardsand ensures patient care is delivered in accordance with these delivery systems
Track key indicators of performance within the Service Line in areas including but not limited to (safety, quality, affordability, and experience)
Support Market and practice leaders in deploying operational standards (e.g. expected productivity, shifts, panel size, etc.)
Execute action plans to achievephysician,APP, andcaregiver engagement within Service Line
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration (or related fields). Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution, education is verified.
Seven years of healthcare leadership or practice management experience.
Four years as practice manager or supervisor experience with direct reports and P&L accountability
Previous experience developing relationships with Providers.
Demonstrate sound financial and quantitative analytical skills, excellent diplomacy and persuasive capabilities, as well as other verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership, personal and professional ethics, and an ability to inspire and motivate others.
Expertise in project planning and leading teams.
Experience in process improvement.
Ability to facilitate interdisciplinary teams and to develop effective relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
Ability to work independently.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$50.22 - $77.53
