Empatica Clinical Operations & Logistics Intern in Boston, Massachusetts

About the role
As an Intern in Clinical Operations & Logistics, you will have the opportunity to join Empatica's Operations Team in Boston. This role will involve close collaboration with our Clinical Operations & Logistics Teams, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our processes.
Within this position, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring an adequate inventory and proper allocation of devices for upcoming studies
Assisting in managing and maintaining relationships with vendors
Handling incoming and outgoing mail for all products, materials, and supplies
Assembling, inspecting, and packaging devices as required
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
This internship is intended to start in September and will last for 3 months on a part-time basis, with the potential for contract extension.
Requirements
You are the ideal candidate if:
Currently in college in the Boston area, preferably studying operations, supply-chain management, international business/trade/commerce or a related field
Available to work up to 20 hrs/week in-office
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Full of excitement and not afraid to speak up when you see an improvement can be made
Desire to learn about many different aspects of a Start-up environment
Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude towards a variety of tasks
