Exciting newly established position for licensed MSW as part of a two-person social work team in the Adolescent Weight Loss Surgery Program.
This Bariatrics Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
Providing a broad range of clinical social work services to adolescents and their families.
Providing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, short term focused counseling, and psychoeducation
Facilitation of use of hospital and community resources, and psychosocial consultation to medical team
To qualify, you must have:
Master's degree in Social Work, LICSW required.
Experience in medical environment helpful.
Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills necessary.
Experience in mental health assessment and weight loss education preferred but not required.
This position is eligible for a $2500 sign on bonus and part-time benefits
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday
