Eastern Bank Commercial Banking Analyst II in Boston, Massachusetts
The Commercial Banking Analyst II is responsible for, providing analytical and information support concerning sales and performance to goals, incentive compensation profitability and operations for the Commercial Division. Additional reporting at the divisional level to identify operational efficiencies. Prepares and delivers recommendation regarding incentive plan design, proposed changes etc. and then develop the mechanism to execute them. Confidentiality is a key purpose and objective of this position. . Strong nCino knowledge and Excel is required
nCino Reporting and Analysis / Portfolio Management
Develop and manage nCino reports for management level and the entire Commercial Division .
Developing and managing Dashboards.
Manages all Commercial Division transfers as it relates to nCino, Operations and Budgets for loans and deposits.
Collaborates with Senior management on development of reports regarding prospectings, calling efforts etc.
Work with Marketing and Customer Experience to streamline lists for events and mailings in nCino.
Manage distribution of monthly reporting requirements and nCino guidecards.
Divisional Reporting & Incentive Program Management – Confidential Information
Assist in the administration of the Commercial Banking Incentive Plan (CBIP) to include plan design, implementation of changes, interpretation of plan in the case of disputes, and making recommendations to management related to such interpretations.
Assists in management of budget for incentive payments, and ensures payments are made timely and according to the published plan document.
Assists with coordination all monthly Commercial divisional reports related to performance to include the divisional sales report, narrative for the board of directors, and the divisional profitability report.
As needed work with Human Resources and Commercial Division Group Head to re-evaluate incentive plans for comparison with other bank plans.
Engaged in establishing goals for individuals and departments.
Multiple systems – Analysis required.
Establish regular review and updating of Commercial procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. Update and catalog guidecards.
Assist with training needs for new and existing employees on updated procedures and guidecards.
Assists in overseeing continued compliance with banking regulations throughout the Commercial Banking Division related to Lending regulations.
Regularly participates on project teams and routinely work with very little supervision or direction. Assists as a liaison on special projects with internal divisions with the bank.
Skills/Knowledge :
Expertise in Excel
nCino knowledge and practical experience is required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Business acumen and professionalism is a must.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical.
Ability to build relationships and strong alliances across the organization are extremely important. Understanding of the banking environment and strong analytical skills required.
Must be technically literate, a self-starter, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
BIC and Power BI knowledge
