About the role:
Join Takeda as a Communications Lead where you will promote and guide communications activities within the organization using project management methodologies and communication methods for reporting and engagement. You will also support Takeda's digital aspirations by providing strategic communications expertise focused on new technologies, innovation, and digital transformation for a diverse global audience. As part of the Global Data and Technology (GDT) team, you will report to the Head of Change Management and Communications and will lead a communications team to deliver a variety of communications services.
How you will contribute:
Support Takeda's digital aspirations by providing strategic communications expertise focused on new technologies, innovation, and digital transformation for a diverse global audience.
Deliver communications services across DD&T products in consideration of the DD&T vision and ensure an end-user experience. Ensuring audiences are informed about products, strategies, and roadmap
Create communications plans, presentations, social media posts, videos, articles, talking points, and other communications objects to amplify digital messages.
Create a range of communications materials and assets for use ensuring ease of access to communications, clarity, and consistency of messages
Create communities of practice to lead our communications strategy.
Co-author communications for Takeda leaders on new technologies, digital health, and transformation for internal audiences.
Collect and maintain success metrics to demonstrate return on investment of digital projects and communications efforts.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree (required) with media or communications major
At least 7 years of progressive experience in communications
Experience in digital communications
Understanding of latest digital trends and direction of digital innovation
Reach audiences of all levels of a large global organization
Experience building active communities of practice
Translate complex topics, issues, and opportunities into simple language that tells a story and achieves a strategic goal
Influence others and move toward common goals
Knowledge of Microsoft and SharePoint
Experience managing projects, planning events, creating content, and a general understanding of graphic design principles and user experience required. (required)
Desirable
Pharmaceutical industry experience
Experience in Communication for digital/technology Products e.g., Microsoft, Mobile applications, SAP
Additional Language skills are desirable – e.g., Japanese, German, French, or Spanish.
Experience in business partnering providing a support service internally to partners
Solid IT skills and ability to learn new project systems and design and media applications and tools
Open to new ways of working and applying new methodologies
