Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Compliance and Operational Risk Program Specialist to join their team. As a Compliance and Operational Risk Program Specialist , you will be part of the Compliance and Risk Management Department supporting the Compliance and Operational Risk teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills , analytical thinking , and attention to detail , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Compliance and Operational Risk Program Specialist

Location: Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Pennington, NJ; Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: Based on the experience

What’s the Job?

  • Supervise the execution of Compliance and Operational Risk Management program elements, assessing risks and associated controls.

  • Manage monitoring and reporting of adherence to the program, addressing issues and identifying enhancements.

  • Ensure compliance with ongoing laws, rules, and regulations, providing independent oversight of performance.

  • Manage the Operational Risk Strategy, engage with local regulators, and oversee regulatory inquiries.

  • Identify, remediate, and escalate issues, driving actions to address root causes of compliance risks and operational losses.

What’s Needed?

  • Ability to assist Risk Officers in managing tests and monitoring activities throughout their lifecycle.

  • Experience in identifying and managing issues to remediate concerns identified by audits or regulators.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools, including Tableau, MS SharePoint, and Excel.

  • Experience with policies, procedures, and guidelines management.
