Description We are offering a contract for a Contract Accounting Manager position, located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves managing day-to-day operations within a finance team and working cross-functionally to assist with all business departments' finance needs and queries. The position will be part-time, with flexibility for onsite presence as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct regular account reconciliations and prepare journal entries for review.

• Manage cash flow and fixed assets within the organization.

• Prepare and review control documentation, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to facilitate financial tasks and reporting.

• Collaborate with all business departments to meet their finance needs and address queries.

• Maintain a high level of organization and effective time management to meet deadlines.

• Display strong attention to detail in reviewing workpapers and other business documents.

• Troubleshoot and problem-solve accounting issues as they arise.

• Carry out administrative office duties as required. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting management

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Profound knowledge of accounting functions is mandatory

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Must have experience in auditing financial records and transactions

• Ability to perform final review of financial statements and reports is necessary

• Experience in payroll management and reconciliation is a must

• Proficiency in making journal entries is required

• Experience in executing month-end close processes is necessary

• This is a part-time contract role in accounting management
