Robert Half Contracts Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Manager in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will review, redline, and escalate contracts for legal review, manage procurement, and handle various types of agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Review and redline contracts to ensure they meet legal and company standards

• Escalate contracts for additional legal review when necessary

• Manage a variety of agreements including Master Service Agreements, marketing agreements, and labor agreements

• Understand and recognize the limitations of liability and warranty terms

• Make informed decisions to differentiate between legal and business decisions

• Utilize skills in 3M, Adobe Acrobat, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Banner Ads, and Business systems

• Oversee procurement processes and operations

• Handle amendments, auditing, billing functions, and claim administration

• Manage contracts and master agreements effectively

• Leverage skills in redlining to ensure the accuracy and compliance of contracts. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry

• Demonstrated skills in contract management, including the ability to handle amendments, auditing, billing functions, claim administration, and redlining

• Proficiency in using 3M, Adobe Acrobat, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, and Banner Ads

• Solid knowledge of business systems

• Experience with clinical trial operations

• Proficiency in procurement and master agreements

• Ability to ensure all contract terms and provisions are in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve contractual and legal issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or related field preferred

• Relevant certification in contract management is a plus.
